NEXT / EXIT Exam is planned to give a license to practice & qualifying exam for PG program. If a medical student clear NEXT / EXIT Exam, then only he will be eligible to register to practice.  NEXT / EXIT Exam soon will replace,

  1. AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI exam
  2. Screening exam – FMGE
  3. NEET PG Exam

NEXT Exam will be based on clinical science subjects

NEXT – 1 (@ end of Final MBBS – in March) – All India Exam

Part A – Day 1

  • Pre-lunch 3 Hours session
    • Medicine & allied – Including Psychiatry, Dermatology
    • 120 items
  • Post lunch – 1.5 Hours session
    • Pediatrics
    • 60 items

Part B –Day 2

  • Pre-lunch – 3 Hours session
    • Surgery & allied – Including Anesthesia, Orthopaedics, Radiology
    • 120 items
  • Post lunch – 1.5 Hours session
    • ENT

Part C – Day 3

  • Pre-lunch – 3 Hours session
    • Obstetrics Gynaecology and allied subjects
